Giovanni could be Ash's father...
Why...

  • It would be a classic villian/hero thing thats been done a bunch of times and Pokemon wanted to recreate
  • In the Kids Day episode when Ash had his hair cut (shorter than Giovanni's actually) he looked like a spitting image, (exept for the retarted lines on Ash's face)
  • In the repeated near attempts Gio has just barely and I mean barely just missed seeing Ash in the show

Why not...
  • It would cramp the hero villian thing they could be trying to do for the little kids and wouldn't want "evil ties" in Ash
  • In the game "Ash" sees Gio three times (R/B/Y) and there is nothing to assume Gio is his dad, (The Pikachu versian is exposed to be just like the show, I know its not, but that could of steered them away from it)


Gary is related to Lance...
Why...
  • Gary could be Lance's cousin, because they look very similer

    Why Not...
    • If Lance and Gary were related there for Lance and Oak were related, if anybody were related to Lance we know bragging Professor Oak would of said it by now, don't try to deny it, he would of been all over, especially after Ash met Lance. Sorry.
    • Lance would probably of been in Pallet Town after the original Pokemon Leagues


    Oak is Ash's Dad...
    Why...
    • The hair
    • Delia and Oak are always seen together
    Why Not...
    • Because you know how Oak is always talking about Gary being such a grand grandson or what ever, you would of thought he would of metioned Ash being, just related to him once by now.
    • This idea was steared out at the begining, for one Ash would "normally" be old enough to be Gary's father because Gary's father and Ash would of been brothers, so Ash would be Gary's uncle, no not gonna happen.
    • Delia and Oak are always together because they have "kids" that are the same age and are going to all of the same national Pokemon events, so they naturally travel together.
